Principal's Message

Dear Banks County Families and Students,

Welcome back, Leopards!

We are extremely excited to begin this school year with you. Our goal at  Banks County High School is to value each student as an individual, and I strongly believe that establishing relationships with our students is imperative to reach that goal.

Our teachers and staff work diligently to meet the needs of all students who enter our building, and we believe that fostering relationships helps our students reach their goals and give them the skills to go above them.

We believe in our community of learners in which each person has unique gifts, talents, and abilities.  BCHS provides strong academic programs, rigorous elective options, award-winning fine arts, and multiple state championships in both athletic and clubs, and CTAE programs help to carry out that mission.

We have a 1:1 technology initiative that encourages teaching strategies to integrate multiple learning styles and individual excellence.

We will continue that excellence this year and are committed to helping our students stay safe while helping them reach their goals.

If I can ever assist any of you, please reach out. My door is always open!

Sincerely,
Mike Brown-Principal
