Banks County High School Progress Reports, EOC and Final Exam Information

Banks County High School will send home progress reports on October 21st and November 18th. The End of Course Tests will be given for Biology on December 5th, Algebra on December 6th, American Literature Section 1 on December 7th, American Literature Section 2 on December 8th,  and US History on December 9th.
Exemptions do not apply to courses with an End of Course Test.

1st and 2nd-period  exams will be given on December 15th, and 3rd and 4th-period exams will be given on December 16th.

The following criteria must be met to be exempt from a Final Exam:  A 90 or above class average and three or fewer unexcused absences OR An 80 or above class average and two or fewer unexcused absences.

Harly Ledford Places 2nd Overall in Area

Harly Ledford competed in the Employment Skills Leadership Development Event this past week. In this event, she completed a cover letter and resume while also completing two rounds of interviews. Harly placed second overall in Area and will be advancing to State on December 10th.

David Adams Places 1st in Lawnmower and Operations CDE Competition

Adams recently competed in the Lawnmowers and Operations CDE competition. This CDE is meant to test a student's skill within a lawnmower driving course, a written exam, and a problem-solving exercise by using various mower and small engine manuals. David placed 1st in the Area 2 CDE and has advanced to the state CDE held in February.

BCHS ENR Team Finishes 1st

The Environmental Natural Resources recently competed in the area competition and the Senior and Junior team placed 1st.
