Banks County High School Home

Banks County High School recently recognized seven students—Marleigh Dale, Kristin Lindeman, Bailey Baker, Eli Castonguay, Rylee Hebb, Hunter Herrig, and Bianca Stiles-Whitener—during a school pep rally for achieving a score of 5 on their Advanced Placement (AP) exams. According to the College Board, a 5 is the highest possible score, signifying that a student is "extremely well-qualified" and has demonstrated exceptional mastery of college-level material.

Banks County High School received the 2026 Cafeteria Award of Excellence from the Georgia Department of Education School Nutrition Division, which included a commemorative banner presented at a state luncheon in Macon. After the state honor, district leadership and Principal Will Foster formally recognized the entire cafeteria team at the high school for their daily dedication to serving students.

The Banks County School System will hold a public sealed bid auction for CTAE Surplus Items. The school system will accept sealed bids from Monday, September 14, 2026, through Thursday, October 15, 2026. Sealed bids may be dropped off at the Banks County Board of Education office with the front desk receptionist from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. All bids must include the item name, bid price, and contact information. A public bid opening will take place on October 15, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
