Banks County Board of Education recognized each school's Teacher of the Year and Classified Person of the Year at the last BOE meeting on November 16th.

Teacher of the Year: Sherry Angel
Classified Employee of the Year: Jamie Helton
Banks County Middle School
Teacher of the Year: Stephanie Kinsey
Classified Employee of the Year: Amanda Massey
Banks County High School
Teacher of the Year: Kipp Jackson
Classified Employee of the Year: Brook Gee
The system winner was Kipp Jackson, who will go on to compete for the Georgia State Teacher of the Year.
The awards banquet was sponsored by Jackson Electric Membership Corporation and Georgia Power.
