Banks County High School Recognized for Excellence in U.S. History and Graduation Rate

Banks County High School was recently honored for two significant academic achievements for the 2023-2024 school year. The school ranked in the top 20% statewide for U.S. History proficiency based on state percentile rankings and achieved an impressive 92% graduation rate.

BCHS faculty and staff were recognized in a special awards ceremony to celebrate these accomplishments. They were presented with a plaque and treated to refreshments during the event. Attendees included Superintendent Dr. Ann Hopkins, Assistant Superintendent Joy Edwards, 7-12 Curriculum Director Michael Williams, K-5 Teaching and Learning Director Linda Hawks, and other district leaders.
