Banks County School System has named Will Carter, an English Language Arts teacher at Banks County High School, the first Roaring Rookie for the 2024-2025 school year. Carter has been recognized for his enthusiasm and dedication to his students.
The Roaring Rookie Award is sponsored by The Jax Shack in Homer, Georgia, owned by Tony and Amanda Bedford. Carter received a gift certificate from The Jax Shack and a Roaring Rookie certificate.
The district congratulates Carter on his outstanding contributions and looks forward to his continued success.
