The Banks County School system is thrilled to reveal the outstanding educators selected as the Teacher of the Year and Classified Person of the Year at each school. These teachers and staff members have demonstrated exceptional dedication, innovation, and passion for education, significantly impacting our students' lives.

The Leopards emerged with a big win over George Walton Academy Friday night with a score of 19-7.

Banks County High School will host the 2023 Homecoming from September 11th-15th. Sponsored by Banks County High School cheerleaders, the squad encourages all schools to participate daily.

Banks County High School launched a new CTAE pathway this school year under the direction of Jason Sexton. The new pathway, Arts, A/V Technology, and Communications, includes audio-video technology and film courses

Banks County High School students participated in the Foothills AHEC Piedmont University Health Scholar Intensive Program.

Attention Seniors: Jostens will return to take cap and gown orders on Tuesday, September 12th, during lunch. This is the last chance to order at school.

Banks County High School will host a Parent Information Night on September 21st.

The meeting will start at 6:00 for all grades, followed by a special presentation at 6:30 for Senior Parents. Topics covered include communication resources, dual enrollment, work-based learning, attendance, tardies, parking passes, the school calendar, and vaping.

The senior presentation will include information regarding important dates such as the SAT and ACT, scholarships, senior announcements, and other important deadlines. This is a great opportunity for senior parents to learn how to navigate their student's senior year.
