High school seniors who showcase leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship are eligible to apply for a $10,000 renewable scholarship – up to $40,000 total per recipient. Recipients not only receive money for college, but also join a network of exceptional students and young professionals who desire to lead, serve, and have a positive impact on their communities.

Calling all high school seniors! The Sparkling Ice® Flavorful Futures Go Green Scholarship program is now accepting applications. Follow your dreams and fund your flavorful future with a $5,000 scholarship. Students must intend to pursue a degree related to environmental studies and show proof of involvement in sustainable initiatives and projects (volunteering work, job, etc). Live Más Scholarship

The Taco Bell Foundation's Live Más Scholarship is designed for students ages 16-26 who are pursuing higher education, preparing for the workforce, or using their passion to ignite change in their communities and beyond. All it takes is a two-minute video telling us what you're passionate about and how you plan to make a difference. By completing an application, students can open the door to a world of possibilities. Jackson EMC Scholarship

The Walter Harrison scholarship is named in honor of a state and national electric cooperative movement leader. The Harrison Trust awards several $1,000 scholarships statewide to high school seniors and undergraduate students of any age attending a vocational school or two four-year accredited colleges or universities in Georgia.

Pebble Ministry Scholarship

Pebble Ministry Inc. has opened up the application for the Kendrick Paul Simmons, Sr. Memorial Scholarship.

Dr. Donald Freeman Emergency Medicine Scholarship

This award seeks to identify a candidate who embodies these themes. Dr. Freeman has always been an advocate for women and underrepresented minorities in emergency medicine. An additional focus will be to increase diversity of students enrolling in the practice of medicine.

Eligibility:

A senior high school student or currently enrolled pre-professional/college student who demonstrates an expressed interest in a future career in emergency medicine - such as nursing, physician, physician assistant, respiratory therapy, EMS, etc. Applicant must be from or attend a school within the following counties: Hall/Barrow/Lumpkin/Habersham/Jackson/White/Gwinnett/Forsyth/Union/Banks/ Dawson/Hart/Rabun/Stephens/Towns.

Ideally the candidate will be an underrepresented minority in medicine, a woman, or would otherwise demonstrate commitment to increasing diversity in emergency medicine.

Applicants:

We ask that you submit a 500-1000 word essay on interest in Emergency Medicine and how you will use your unique attributes to aid the community and contribute to the diversity of emergency medicine.

The deadline for this year's application is April 13, 2025.
