Freshman Pounce Class of 2030!

Banks County High School will host Leopard Pounce on Wednesday, July 29, from 8:15–11:15 a.m. This is a student-only event for rising 9th graders.

BCHS Bell Schedules for the 2026–2027 School Year

Banks County High School has released two bell schedules for the 2026–2027 school year: the regular bell schedule and the Club/Advisement bell schedule. Parents, guardians, and students are encouraged to review both schedules carefully as we prepare for the upcoming school year.

Principal's Message

Dear Banks County Families and Students,
 
Welcome back, Leopards!
 
We are extremely excited to begin this school year with you. Our goal at  Banks County High School is to value each student as an individual. I strongly believe that establishing relationships with our students is imperative to reach that goal.
 
Our teachers and staff work diligently to meet the needs of all students who enter our building. We believe that fostering relationships helps our students reach their goals and gives them the skills to achieve them.
 
We believe in our community of learners, in which each person has unique gifts, talents, and abilities. BCHS provides strong academic programs, rigorous elective options, award-winning fine arts, and multiple state championships in athletics and clubs, and CTAE programs help to carry out that mission.
 
We have a 1:1 technology initiative that encourages teaching strategies to integrate multiple learning styles and individual excellence.
 
We will continue that excellence this year and are committed to helping our students stay safe while helping them reach their goals.
