Governance Elections for Banks County Primary and Banks County High School

Banks County Primary School and Banks County High School are currently accepting nominations for a parent representative to serve on the school-based governance team. Applications will be accepted for a two-week period beginning August 7th, 2023.

Summer 2023 P-EBT Benefits

The Georgia Department of Human Services's Division of Family & Children Services will issue a one-time P-EBT benefit covering the 2023 summer months for eligible school children. K-12 students who participated in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), including high school students who graduated in May 2023, will receive the one-time $120 benefit issuance in summer 2023. Banks County High School Afterschool Program

Banks County High School offers the CONNECT Afterschool Program which provides free tutoring, extra help, and individual academic assistance. All students are invited to participate. Transportation is provided.

PSAT offered at BCHS

Banks County High School will offer the PSAT for Sophomores and Juniors on October 25th, 2023. The PSAT is free for Sophomores and $18 for Juniors.

THE BANKS COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM WILL HOLD GOVERNANCE MEETINGS AT EACH SCHOOL ON THE FOLLOWING DATES FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR AT 6:00 PM.
