Banks County High School student Ayden Bennett was recently recognized at the Banks County Board of Education meeting for outstanding achievement in his CTAE Automotive Course.

The High School Band and Chorus will present their Mid-Winter "Pre-LGPE" Concert, featuring songs from the Annual District 9 Large Group Performance Evaluation next week.

The concert is Thursday, February 23, at 6:00 pm at the High School Auditorium.
As always, admission is free!

Banks County High School finished 7th at state at the GHSA State Wrestling Championship Meet and left with State Champion Kellon Walley and numerous state places. The team also brought home four state medals. Freshman CJ Maynard placed 5th, freshman Case Hanley placed 5th, and Senior Angel Cruz placed 3rd.

In February, the state of Georgia celebrates career, technical, and agricultural education (CTAE). CTAE Month is a public awareness campaign designed to recognize the value, achievements, and accomplishments of CTAE programs nationwide.

John is a senior enrolled at Banks County High School and shares his experiences from his CTAE courses.

On Thursday, the Banks County High School Wrestlers will head to Macon to compete at State.

Banks County High School senior Shelby Speed signed to attend Kennesaw state and continue her collegiate athletic career in Discus this past month.

The Banks County High School local scholarship application is now available for the class of 2023. Various scholarships only require students to complete the local scholarship application to be considered for eligibility, such as the Banks County Board of Education Scholarship. Other scholarships do require a separate application. The local scholarship application, the list of local scholarships, and scholarships that require a particular application are attached.
